No, you only have a period when the egg was not fertilized and then it's disposed of. Obviously the egg fertilized if you are pregnant. Many women have bleeding throughout their pregnancy and it can caused by variety of reasons. A woman should always report any bleeding to their OB because it could indicate a problem.

girl i think if your pregant and you have a period then thats a problem
