Lately I have been taking multi- vitamins, iron, zinc, vitamin A, calcium and amino acids. I'am 17 years old, is it bad to take 6 tablets a day?.. will it affect my growth or are these vitamins okay for me to take?

by the way I'am only taking 1 of each tablet listed daily.

Unless your multi-vitamin doesn't already contain Vitamin A and Iron, I would lay off those two additional supplements in particular. An excess of either of those can be dangerous to your health (unlike Vitamin C, for example, that you can take pretty much as much as you want.) Seriously, unless you have some sort of deficiency or are an elite athlete or something, just a good multi-vitamin with minerals is really all you need. Anything beyond that and you're just wasting your money and potentially threatening your health.

This can be very dangerous so don't do it. Some of these vitamins and minerals, such as iron and vitamin A can reach toxic levels if you take too much and can damage your liver and kidneys. Only take the amount that you need.
