I am experiencing severe joint pain and tenderness, especially in my elbow, that is apparently associated with chronic fatique syndrome. Can anyone suggest anything that can help alleviate this condition?

Before taking anything for it, have the doctor run and HCV test regardless of the more popular ways of transmission (risk factors).

Have you had a regular blood lab? How are your ALT and AST levels?

Am I correct in that it is your right elbow?

My wife has had Lupus for 11 yrs. CFS is one symptom of this, along with arthitic like joint pain. (she's 34).

She used glucosamine for a while and found some relief initially.

In the long haul, she's had to rely on pain meds, but there are many other factors and complications that she has now which are far worse than the joint pain. (Kidneys, hips, brain, etc)

Oh, and she did get a fair bit of relief from Chinese acupunture but that was fairly costly to maintain.
