Well...I have heard the phrase "he is just not that into you" so I am not sure if this is a case of that or what?

There is a guy who flirts with me so much that even my friends have noticed. I blow him off because I get really nervous around guys and am never sure if they are serious or not. He asked for my phone number three weeks ago so I gave it to him.

He has called twice (it was on my caller ID) but never left a message. I was scared to call back because I get so nervous.

I have continued to act non-chalant about him, but I find him so adorable and I really do dig him.

Should I flirt back or just write this off as another case of "he's just not that into you?"

I did text him a couple times and he texted back.

I don't know how to flirt with men because I get so nervous.

I don't care whether a guy is shy or not. If a guy asks for your phone number (and is romantically interested in you), he will leave a message and call call call until he reaches you for a date.

So he is NOT that into you.

Men are capable of leaving messages and pursuing you if they ARE interested enough.

Sorry to be harsh. It is just the truth...SHY OR NOT SHY!

If you get nervous about flirting, then don't approach it from the point of view of flirting; instead, just chat with him about something simple; if you have any classes together, or similar jobs, or live in similar areas, even if it's something as simple as talking about how hot it's been this summer--pick a simple, easy topic to break the ice and get the conversation going; then, once you've got him talking a bit, you can mention you noticed he called, but didn't leave a message, and you were really curious what he was calling about, and wished he'd left a message. That should give him a very big opening to take the conversation in the direction he's interested in; either he'll let you know why he was calling, or indicate he's been thinking about you, or give some other indication; or, he'll play it off as absolutely nothing, and move back to a more general topic. Unless he's an absolute cretin, if he's at all interested in you, he'll take the hint that you'd really wished he'd left a message and run with it.

Give it a shot, you've got lots to gain, and little to lose. ^_^

I went through the same thing. Guys are way different these days. I bet he does like you, though! He's probably scared to ask you because he thinks you might say no.Give him some time and maybe flirt back with him, see if that makes him less intimidated. Hope this helps!!

Well if he is calling you then ofcourse he is interested, damn gal flirt rite back.. don't be so nervous thats probably why he is not wanting to leave any messages because you would probably brush it off because of the way you're acting around him. Try and be more approachable next time he is around.....Good Luck!!!!

NO...do not write it off, he seems really really into you. Just call him and talk or hang out. Flirting is not hard i am sure you are doing it w/o even knowing it.So go for it with him don't write him off when everyone can see he really likes you. Good luck!

Call him back, tell him you saw his number on caller ID. Can you imagine what he is thinking about how you are acting. He is most lkely assuming that you are not that into him.

Call him, see what he says, chat about school stuff. Let him know you are interested.

if a guy flirts with you and asks for your number give him the number of the local pizza delivery service or something you can remember easily don't give it away unless you really want to!

well if he's called you twice and you havent called back, how do you think that looks to him? i mean, if he doesnt know you are interested in him, then why would you expect for him to keep calling you? if you dont call him back, he'll just think that you really arent interested and he'll probably move on.
