Are you still living at home? Do your parents charge you rent, or do they support you? Then they'll claim you as a dependent.

big paycheck low return claim three dependents, what you claim has no effect on your parents tax situation, You can claim 12 dependents if you want, but not on your tax return. When you fill out w4 your status as a dependent on your parents tax form will not be an issue.

how old are you? You need to talk to your parents. If this is your first paycheck ever you can claim EXEMPT for the first 6 months I believe and you will get all of your money and pay no taxes. Your parents will claim you if you are under 18 and they support you more than half of the time. GOOD LUCK.
