I have bi-racial hair. My boyfriend's mother had her hair really curly the other day and she said she left conditioner in it. Can it make mines curly too?

If so, what else do I have to do to it?

My granddaughter is bi-racial. We often leave conditioner in her hair because her's curls so well. After putting in the conditioner we use a pic on it and she is left with alot of tiny little ringlets. Its really beautiful. But I dont think everyones will curl like hers. But the conditioner does dry out, and she is left with FRIZZ! But it is very pretty while it lasts. You can always try it, after all its just conditioner and it will wash out, and you dont have the grease like in the other products.

Conditioner To Make Hair Curly

Well, I've never known it to make your hair curly. But what you could do is get a leave-in conditioner. Then, curl it with a curling iron or some rollers. And you're hair will be curly and shouldn't be frizzy at all because of the leave-in conditioner. I suggest John Frieda's Frizz Ease Leave-In Fortifying Spray. It's not exactly a conditoner, but it works better than anything else!

Don't know about left-in conditioner making it Curly, but I've heard from several people salt water, beach water, & even chlorinated pool water will make it Curly. Salt water left on to dry naturally will give the best curl.

To the person who says left-in cond. makes hair greasy- it depends on how much you leave in. If you have really long hair, many hairdressers will recommend that you only shampoo once or twice a week & you actually leave a little conditioner in since during the course of washing you actually wash out essential oils that keep the natural moisture in your hair. Not gobs, just some. Shouldn't make greasy!

using a leave in conditioner like tigi ego boost is really the only conditioner u should leave in.. if it states rinse u should rinse.. i would say get some shampoo and conditioner for curly hair and srunch with some mousse. just dont' use a lot of product. let it air dry..but a leave in conditioner that is not in spray bottle will give u some more curl definition..

YES! I am also white, but I've found that hair products modeled for African American-textured hair is amazing for people like us with curly textured hair. A brand that I use is Queen Helene Cholestrol hair proucts. It's a thick cream that stays in hair and restores hair so it is moisturized and shiny. It also controls frizz very well :) Even if the product you are using is not a leave-in conditioner, I have found that you can still leave it in to further restore your hair. good luck!!! :)

Conditioner naturally makes most hair wavy/curly, but not without a heavy application, leaving a build up... why not look into "Aveeda" hair line of products or "Paul Mitchell" that have products to induce your type of hair, to bring out some curls... the old fashion way to be: wet, gel, spray, and go!

Conditioner will weigh your hair down and make it heavy and dull if you don't wash it out. try washing yourhair, then putting a bunch of mouse and hairspray in it and blowdry it scrunching it in a wad all teh a=way from tip to roots. Do this until you hair is dry and use a pick for any knots. voila curls.

Hey yeah it makes mine curly.. but i rinse with cold water, to get the conditioner out. but my hair is naturally wavy..

Try jumping in the shower.
Shampoo your hair if you like .
Then put the conditioner in and let soak in your hair for about3-5 minutes, wash out with cold water, but don't wash it all out, wash enough out that you hair doesn't feel too heavy but u know that there is still conditioner in it, Get out.. let the towel absorb some moisture and leave your hair to naturally dry..
DONT TOWEL DRY! it won't work.. and don't use a hairdryer, that also won't work!
ta-da!! nice curls x3
