These batteries are about 3 years old. They used to hold a charge for months, now barely a few days. I have tried putting them in the freezer for days, no real change.

Are they Ni-cads or Nimh ? If they are Nimh you could try a charger with a "conditioning" cycle.

Your batteries are getting old. Depending on how many times they have been charged...it might be best just to buy new ones. (NiMh rechargeable at 2500 or higher) You might need a new charger also.

You have to purchase a rechargeable battery charger found at stores like walmart, target, etc.
