They are fun, but difficult to maintain. Both parties need to be very mature, open, considerate, and honest, otherwise you'll get fireworks.

Best way is not to exercise the benefits so often. Maybe once a month. That keeps things distant enough to not create any sort of expectations. The more often you see each other, the more honesty and consideration would be necessary to keep emotions on a safe level.

Even then thing may still not work out. But then again, more traditional relationships often don't work out either.

It's funny, but I'm in a relationship which is basically FWB and I didn't even realize it.

I see my gf only once a month because of her work. So we really don't do the normal things that couples do. I guess that makes us FWB.

How does it feel? Sometimes it does feel empty. And sometimes I like that I can do whatever I want when I'm not with her. The scary part is that I'm in love with her.

Well I think that if you have high moral standard you're against it because of reasons like sex is special and should only be shared with your significant other. Others that want just sex from someone just take it and be happy with it they got what they wanted and the other person did too, end of story. I'm against it because well sex is special and should only be shared with your significant other.
