That's not racist at all, people are twisting the truth here. You, just like so many other Americans want the laws of this country upheld. I don't break the laws, why should an illegal immigrant who isn't even a citizen be aloud too?

Don't think you're racist.

The word is thrown around too freely now days. It's used to make people afraid of disagreeing when something could even be looked at as a race issue. But illegal immigration is involving ALL RACES! Illegal immigration is NOT just from Mexico - but they are the poster children of the pro-illegals because they can show the "poor people trying to make a better life for themselves and their family". B-S! Everyone comes over here because it looks like we don't work for what we have. And if you can't work, our government will support you! But we pay for that care. How? TAXES - INCOME TAXES. Illegal immigrants don't pay income taxes, but yet seem to find a way to use the programs our taxes pay for. Funny how that works. . .

No, I don't think you are a racist. You haven't spoke anything that makes me think otherwise. You just are stating your view, and should be respected for that. Even by those that don't agree with you.

Not all illegal immigrants are Mexican. Some are from other countries like Russia. I knew an illegal Russian, but before I could do anything, he disappeared and the last I heard he crossed the Canadian border. That was a couple of years ago.

My wife is Peruvian and she does not like illegals. She cannot understand why she has to go by the rules and laws, but the illegals do not have to. Strange isn't it. People put illegal immigration and racism in the same category.

For one thing, you only pointed out how many illegal "hispanics" are in the states. Keep in mind that the whole bottom portion of the US used to belong to Mexico. Another thing is, we all came from different countries. If anything the Mexicans were here first! especially if you live in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Nevada etc. Why don't you people start realizing that there are plenty of other races that are over populating the US. There are so many that will marry any white man/woman, regardless if they love them or not. They won't even be attracted to them. They just do it for the citizenship. THAT irritates me. I am Mexican/American and my family is been here since this belonged to Mexico, so we're not going anywhere. And I have a HUGE family so if you're tired of seeing us here, I'm sorry, but we've probably been here longer then you're ancestors.

Yes I do believe you're racist against hispanics!

No your not racist afterall your voicing your own opinions. The reason many on here say its about race is because if you look through the questions on here that have to deal with illegal immigration you will see the term "mexican" or "brownie" use a lot and that's what ticks many off.I'm actually still waiting for a question that reads "should illegal irishs be sent home?" or "Why won't all the illegal South Africans go home and fix their own country?".yup any...........day now.

I actually asked that very same question refer to that if you need too. But no you are not racist unless you are only grouping a certain race of people as illegals. Many people who will say you're racist are actually the racist ones because they are assuming you are refering to mexicans as illegals which just shows how judgemental people are.

Star Gazer - you personally have been in the United States that long, eh? Oh wait, you said we. Would that be you and your other relatives with the amazing longevity?

I mean, because in order to have been here longer than many folks ancestors, you'd have to be at least 300 years old. Wow. And then again, perhaps you're one of those revisionist historians who believe that just because Siberian/Russians came across the land bridge 40,000 years ago and stumbled upon the North American continent, this land is yours by virtue of their movement through it on their way to modern day Mexico?

God you people are ignorant. And by the way, I am Nde, Apache. My Native American ancestry outranks your Mexican ancestry for the ownership of this land. Guess we'll have to arm wrestle, eh?

Actually though, I think we should apply your brand of revisionist logic to the rest of the world. Based on the Mexican view of America being theirs because they lived in the Southwest for approximately 30 years in the 200 plus years of the existence of the United States, I propose that we revise the boundry lines of the majority of the civilized world.

First and foremost, the majority of the civilized world was once under Roman rule. So it is only logical that we give most of Europe, the Greek Islands, parts of Germany, Spain, Asia Minor, Libya, and North Africa to the Italians, who are the modern day progeny of the Romans. I'm sure that they will be utterly estatic to finally run all of the interlopers out of their lands.

As to the dispensation of India, there is anthropological evidence that the people of India evolved during a migration from the Russian steppes, although the migratory pattern is not completely understood. So, all of the native people in India need to move. I don't know where they will go, but they need to make room for the Russians.

Now, Israel at the time of Jesus was known to have encompassed an area beginning about 30 miles south of Masada and the majority of the Dead Sea, all the way to Joppa and Caesarea on the Mediterrranean, north beyond Galilee about 100 miles or so, and east beyond the Jordan River and the Sea of Galilee. So it would seem that those who live in present day Palestine, Jordan, and Lebanon need to get to packing, and make way for the Israelites!

Remember also that Constantinople, known today as modern day Instanbul, Turkey was once the possession of the Greek people. Sorry folks, ya gotta go. Greece gets Instanbul in my plan to give back the stolen properties of the world.

Oh, and most importantly? Mexico was not a country before 1823. It was the property of Spain. Oh, Lo Siento 'bout your old bad luck. You Mexicans have to leave. The Spanish will receive their old colony of Mexico back to make up for the fact that I've redistributed Spain back to the Romans, oops...the Italians. Maybe you can find some land in Greenland. As global warming increases there should be some nice farmland available up there fairly soon.

Man, it is simply exhausting re-ordering the world boundries. Those are just the ones that I can return to the original owners off of the top of my head. The rest of the world's dispensation will require some research.

For the person who posed the question regarding racism. You are not racist. Those who would label you such because of your stance on border security are the ones who are the true racists.

No, just consumed by the latest media frenzy.

What we have and what will continue going on is people moving around from country to country now that virtually all business has gone global.

Do you truly know your neighbors?

Rarely do you see neighborhoods where people live out their lives and get to know each other.

Instead, people from all over show up living next door or down the block, and we can't do a thing about it because same thing is happening in their countries as well.

Since business went global, it's lights out for Americanism and all that happy stuff about patriotism.

Welcome to the wacky new world.

Hey, I dind't make it that way, I'm all for apple pie and chevrolet.

Now it's sushi and Toyota.

You are not a racist because you oppose illegal immigration (invasion). The real racists are groups like La Raza ( translated into English as The Race). It is a Mexican group that has a great desire to make the American southwest into a Mexican nation. Most Mexican (Hispanic) politicians in the USA are active members of La Raza. We must have these traitors to America removed not only from office, but thrown out of OUR country!!!!!!!!!!!!

the problem is you don't say why you have a problem with illegal immigrants. you have one lame story about your friend who went to mexico and went missing, but you don't seem to have anything of substance to say about the impact of illegal immigration on this country. in one question you say that you're not racist because you're against illegal immigrants, not all mexicans, but in an answer you complain sarcastically about the "good ol mexicans for ya".

it's easy to be judgmental of opinions that are negative and hurtful, especially when they lack substantial reasoning.

illegal immigrants are people, so to say you hate them assumes that you've met a significant number of them and found them all to be detestable. it seems not very likely (based on the way you ask and answer questions) that you've even met one illegal immigrant, so your "problem with illegal immigrants" sounds hollow. is it that you have a problem with policies that allow for illegal immigration? do you have a problem with specific outcomes of illegal immigration? what experience do you have with those problems? what have you done to try to change those policies?
