Knuckle cracking does not reason arthritis, enlarged joints, or different musculoskeletal issues, say professionals. The popping sound outcomes whilst the two opposing bones interior the knuckles are pulled aside, which creates a vacuum interior the joint. A small volume of gas dissolved interior the joint fluid is immediately released, forming a bubble that almost quickly collapses and produces the noise.

No, I don't think so. But doing so for no good reason can't be good. Try limbering up without cracking. If it happens, so be it, that is life.
My docs have told me that exercise helps lubricate the joints and tendons. So warm up gently, then go as far as you can, fast as you can, and in the case of musicians and some athletes, as gracefully as you can.

Medical science does not give a yes or no answer, but if forced to do so, would say "NO."
If you are interested in a more in depth answer, below are two interesting links about this subject.
Happy cracking.

I actually had thought so, so I didn't do it, but i was told by someone in the medial field not sure though, because it was a long time ago, that it actually doesn't cause it. It might make it worse.

Yes, it actually can. You are doing damage to the cushioning cartilage that can cause problems and you'll end up like Fred Sanford.

My Dr. said no. I pop my fingers and neck so i asked him. He said that the noise is air being released from the joints.
