depends if it's a fake or not... too many dealers bought Boss stickers and such to make their own boss trucks... Slap a cheap fiberglass kit and a boss sticker and turned $1k into $7k easy...

But I do know of the boss truck, made by a co in Indiana if I remember... Mostly cosmetic huh?

but depending upon the level of custom.. usually about $1k-$2k over kbb about all maybe $3k on a great day... a used car lot can give you an idea but the custom trucks loose a lot of that customizers premieum price after a few years due to wear/tear and the fact that alot of that wow start to crap out after a few years

well the lightning is not only a body kit it was built by a 12 two man team at ford called Special Vehicle Team (SVT)and is much more than a logo if it a lightning then you have something worth a lot of coin, most of em are 5.7 liter with a Eaton super charger factory with a handling package found on no other vehicle and will flat out run just about anything on the road, even corvettes and up to last year it was the fastest production vehicle on the planet

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY A FORD!! We owned a 2003 Ford F150 Supercrew. The steering wheel locked up while driving and about got us killed! Ford claimed there was no problem........ Several issues also unrepairable with the vehicle. Have owned several Ford/Mazda products as well as Chevys. Chevy trucks are much better hands down!! Owned 2 of them with virtually no problems. Put about 100k mi on ea vehicle. Chevy all the way!!!

Yea, first answerer is an idiot. American trucks beat out jap crap trucks every single time. Buy a Chevy. They will last till 200,000 miles and longer. I'd stay away from Ford, but that's me. Both are very good.

Try Edmunds.com. Keep in mind however, Ford is having a tough time selling new ones, that drive the value of you truck down. Look at what rebates Ford is offering (like 10k?). That's how hard it is to sell a pickup right now.

With manufacturers almost giving them away, its tougher to sell a used one.

hey, buddy, it looks like you are getting very accurate answers. I work for a new car dealership and i can tell you a very good estimate of what your truck is worth. Here is what you do. go to kellybluebook.com and enter only the original options and equipments. never mind any accessories you've added to the truck since you bought it because you will never get you money back. dealerships only look for original equipments. book out your trade in value and not retail. now subtract $3000. the amount you get is your expected actual cash value or acv.
