Your gallbladder hold digestive enzymes to help you digest fat. When you eat fatty food it contracts and puts the digestive enzymes into the digestive system. actually your liver is mainly on the right but does have a smaller section that extends past the ribs from the right side.

when the liver is enlarged or malfunctioning, it can cause the bile ducts inside the liver to produce stones, some end up in the gallbladder and some stones are even formed in the gallbladder.

The gallbladder is primarily an organ that helps secrete bile to help the digestion of foods, particulary fats.
The liver proccesses and aids in the breakdown of all you breath, eat and drink.

If a person has gallbladder disease, the culprit could be the liver. If it's not working properly a person can get gallstones as a side effect.

the gallbladder is attached behind your liver and it stores bile, a digestive liquid used to break down foods in your small intestine it works with your liver..
