Desk jobs, of course. Any white collar job, bookkeeping, receptionist, etc. For minimum wage jobs, you can work the drive thru order taking at fast food restaurants. You can do telephone soliciting (crummy job, though).

Please add details. What is the person's age? What state do you live in? Is the condition heart related, diabetes related, or orthopaedic? Do you live in a large urban area, a smaller city, a small town, or a rural setting? Is the person able to drive a car? What is the time limit for standing? 5 minutes, 15 minutes? Longer?

Does the person qualify for SSD? What about SSI/Medicaid? Does your state have a Vocational Rehabilitation service? That is your starting point.

How recently is the person diagnosed? What is the person's life expectancy? What are the person's skills? Any useful technical skills? Computers? Electronics? Talk to the career development people at your local Community College. Think about all these things. The person should expect to waste 2-3 years dealing with half-wits in positions of influence before finding the first job, especially if age 40 or older.
