Dinosaurs did not in breath oxygen, but rather carbon dioxide and expelled oxygen. When the planet was first created, the atmosphere was rich in carbon dioxide and other inert gases. The dinosaurs being so large, along with the plant life here. Quickly changed the atmosphere to one that was rich in oxygen then they simply died of suffocation.

I don't think they all did. Ever hear of the Loch Ness Monster? Lake Champlain? Not all of those accounts can be false. And if you do a little research into the forests and remote areas of africa and south america, pygmy tribes have been known to look at pictures of what we call "dinosaurs" and identify them as creatures that live in the woods. I think some of the species died out, but most of them are still here, just smaller. Alligators, crocodiles, kimodo dragons, sea dragons, whatever. Think about it.

No one knows for sure, but the one here who said they just got smaller is right, in that what were dinosaurs became birds. The scientists have proof of that.
