You will never get the real answer on your question, only peoples opinion. I don't think it would hurt the next time you are alone, to have a chat with God and let him know you screwed up. If you are planning something and hope you will be forgiven on your death bed, your chance of forgiveness as I see it, is slim to none. I have not found a niche with any religion, so I am kind of a Christian/Jew/Buddhist. They all have something to give for the well being of the mind and my soul.

First, who said you would get that chance and not be killed suddenly?

Second, if you love the Lord, you won't want to waste your whole life before you decide to serve him.

Third, Jesus said, "He that believes and is Baptized shall be saved." Are you counting on deathbed faith and baptism? Faith comes by hearing the word of God. (Romans 10:17) Are you expecting to hear a deathbed sermon so you will come to have faith?

If you reject the Gospel all of your life, you probably won't accept it at your deathbed either.

So are you just telling God, hey I want to live as an unsaved sinner, spitting on your offer of everlasting life, not wanting to live for you here on earth, but wanting to have your grace on my deathbed, to be saved from eternity burning in hell? I will just say it is a good thing He loves you as much as He does, and yes He will welcome you into heaven with open arms, but you will have nothing else in the way of reward or offering. If you continue to deny Christ having the knowledge of Him as your Savior, you are losing out on the best part of life here on earth. Having someone so faithful and loving to walk you through this life is the second best gift He gave us. Try it, what have you got to lose?

If you are betting your immortal soul on it; are you assuming that you will know you are about to die and can 'repent' before you die?

He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved...........

This is part of the plan

But I have friends who believe as you do and they too are betting their soul on it
