This can be a sign of poor circulation. There are many possible causes. Go see a doctor if this continues for more than a week. It could be a sign of a serious condition. Don't take a chance.

If it is like tingling, numbness and a feeling of your fingers and palm falling asleep it could be carpel tunnel. If it is a "sting" as you say, you may have a pinched nerve or allerigc reaction to something?
Have it checked--- good Luck and hope this helps!

Poor circulation. Do you sit/sleep with your arms in a bent positon frequently? Just let your arm hang and shake it out sometimes. That should do it. Unless you have some kind of nerve problem.

It might be carpal tunnel syndrome. You can get it from repetitive movements like frequent typing or playing lots of video games. If it gets worse see a doctor.

It could be something as simple as poor circulation. It might also be something serious, so I would check it out with your doctor just in case.
