Doesn't that make you a Christian?
Have you asked them when their Messiah is planning on showing up?
If they told you he will show up at the end of times, then tell them to think about this real carefully; Isn't the Messiah supposed to teach us how to find our way to our lord? If he shows up at the end, wouldn't it be too late for everyone to repent and show him they are worthy????????
I'll join you in your prayers!
Amen brother.

Let me be the first to congratulate you on your wise decision. Messiah has opened your eyes to Who He Truly Is. I praise The Most High God for this. Yes, the Living God, the God of Israel.
I pray every day that all will recognize who Messiah is, for He is Returning Soon, no longer as the Sacrificial Lamb, but this time as the Lion of Judah. He is the Alpha and the Omega...the Living God.
Don't worry about those who would call you a traitor. There are many Jewish Believers-In-Messiah. The numbers grow daily. You have the most awesome heritage! You are complete in your Jewishness! Find a group of Messianic Believers to worship with. There are now many Messianic synagogues and temples across the U.S. (if you live in the U.S.) If I knew what part of the country you live in I could give you some suggestions, but you can go online and look. In Fort Lauderdale Florida, there is Temple Aron Ha Kodesh. In Philadelphia there is Temple Beth Yeshua. (The rabbi there is Joel Chernoff's brother.) Not sure if you're into Messianic Music but Joel Chernoff is a classical Messianic Rock/Worship & Praise composer for over 20 years. Paul Wilbur is another currently popular musical artist.
Go to either www.ask.com or www.google.com and type in "Messianic Synagogues", and then refine your search for your part of the country. You will find a group of believers that will encourage your growth.
Be strong and of good courage! I pray God gives you the courage and strength to bring many others into the Kingdom as well. The Lord will enlighten the eyes of many more because the Time of The Gentiles has basically ended. We are living in the time immediately preceding the Return of Messiah.

I think that makes you a Messianic Jew doesnt it? I think you are not a traitor, but someone who has more faith in the word you are taught, than those who refuse to believe in their own scripture!
God bless you for being blessed with the gift of understanding. You are chosen to have knowledge and understand the Bible when you read it. I am curious though, if you DO believe in Jesus- do you read the Bible too? I mean aside from the first 5 books?

you at the instant are not a traitor. The Apostles Believed in Jesus because of fact the Risen Messiah and nevertheless believed themselves to be of the Jewish faith. there are a number of Jewish-Christian communities/agencies/church homes. hit upon a powerful one that can assist you you strengthen and learn in the two aspects.

during the time of christs mission on earth,, there was several religious movements among the hebrew people,, some worshipped the old gods and even the Gods of Rome ,,and some believed in an after life,, they where saducces, and the pharisees where strictly followers of the law, and didnt believe in a time after death, just this life and the laws ,,,jesus preached a time of a new earth and a hope of heaven ,,so they tempted him with questions about the laws and the faith,, and he answered and they went away ,, follow your heart ,,hope in any language or religion is of God,,, not death and darkness ,,so cling to the light, and pray for those that would deny you ,,and give them a peaceful answer ,,not an argument,, in time they have to accept, or die,, as we all do an olde dude

David,
You are a christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades christianity.

on the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). clearly this isn't about jesus.
and Isaiah 7 is clearly not messianic. and "alma" -- if you spoke hebrew (I guess that wasn't part of your "jewish upbringing") you would know -- does not mean virgin.
DAVID -- You are such a liar and a deceptive, evil person. really. You are an embarassment to morality.

Who calls you a traitor? Your Jewish friends, family?
Sometimes we have to walk our own path. If they do not believe Jesus is the Messiah, pray for them.
You are not a traitor, just someone whose eyes have been opened.
