Can I use 2 different I Pod programs on one computer.?

Me and my roomate want different Librarys for our Ipods.

You most definitely can. Check out Apple.com and search in the support department and search for 'multiple ipods on one computer.' I recently went through this. It isn't difficult, it just seems tricky in the beginning.
