The story of the wedding at Cana-- John 2:8Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet."
They did so, 9and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside 10and said, "Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now."

actually it is the first miracle of Jesus when he went to the wedding in Cana. The wine ran out and Jesus's mother told the stewards to bring some water jugs to Christ and do whatever he said. They did. Christ told them to fill the jugs with water and then he instructed them to take it to the master of the feast. Then the master of the feast said it was usual to serve the best wine first and when everyone was pretty much out of it (paraphrase) then serve the wine not so good. But here the wine was better than the first.

Perhaps you're referring to the second chapter of John. Jesus turns the water into wine. When the ruler of the feast tastes it he comments that most people serve the good stuff first and then after everyone's been drinking they bring out the cheap stuff, but in this case the good stuff was being served last.

The Bible doesn't have anything about that...but it does say something that a little wine is good for the stomach (because there were no water filtration systems back then).
