I feel that if someone doesn't want to have children yet then they should be taking birth control pills. Even then birth control pills are not 100 % protective against pregnancy and either is condoms 100% effective. If you/ladies don't want to have children yet then to be totally safe then using birth control pills and condoms at the same time is the best thing to do. It only takes minutes to take a pill and wear a condom but it takes a lifetime to raise a child. People say that they accidentally got pregnant but as far as I am concerned that if they are having sex then they are saying that they are taking the chance they get pregnant. Pregnancy is not a accident it is a choice.

Yes. As you said, condoms aren't 100%. Furthermore, birth control pills are good for more than just birth control. They also reduce my problems with menstruation.
If the man doesn't want children or diseases, however, the man should also be responsible for using condoms. Just because the woman is on birth control and condoms aren't 100% doesn't mean that the man is off the hook for using condoms. Besides birth control pills aren't 100% effective either.

I have been on birth control for many years. I took the shot every 3 months instead of the pills because it was easier for me. Anyway, birth control isn't always 100% effective. Always use condoms because catching something you can't rid of is far worse in having a baby.

Birth control pills are a high doses of hormones which can wreak havoc on a woman's body and mind, so that would be why some women opt not to take them. The pill is not 100% effective either, but taken properly are one of the very best methods of preventing unwanted pregnancy.

Condoms don't work if you don't use them.
How many guys say they "use" condoms, but never put the thing on? It's like a bad pick-up line... "Hey baby, I've got condoms."
It is no good to carry the things around in the back pocket of your jeans day after day. Body heat can corrode the latex, and make holes or weak spots.
I knew a girl who stopped taking her pills without telling her boy. He thought he has some kind of "super sperm". I couldn't bear wrecking their happy little fantasy life by setting the story straight, I haven't spoken to either of them since.
I'm sure she's not the only girl to ever pull this trick.

There are alot of women out there who do take birth control to prevent pregnancy. They also use diaphrams and other iud's. But there is still a percentage of women who don't want kids, but feel that getting pregnant is the only way to get a man to commit. Which is totally wrong. And all guys do not use condoms.

Well, there's 2 reason why a girl may take birth control... the number 1 reason is she doesn't want to get pregnant. Number 2 would be to regulate her periods...meaning if she's really irregular or gets PMS really bad sometimes a doctor would prescribe BC's.
That's the original reason why I went on BC...to regulate my periods. I was on it from 19-26...I'm now 27 and have quite taking it because I heard it could cause problems with pregnancy if you're on it too long.

birth control can fail you too.Like when she's on certain medications and antibiotics... the only way to prevent kids when you're not ready for them or don't want more for a while is abstinence.because my friend was conceieved despite the fact birthcontrol and a condom were used.
