I went to the doctor and he said that the cartlige in my left knee is rough. If that knee is popping and almost every other joint is popping, is this something to mention next time I go in? BTW, I'm only 18, I don't think I should be popping and creaking this much yet...

Yeah.. you need to get more active. That sounds like stiff joints and that comes from not being active or exercise.
It's normal for now, however it may turn into arthritis in the next 20 years or so if you dont get up and do something !!

Yes it is normal. You have joint "mice" in your knee. You will probably need arthroscopic surgery later (LATER) in life. This can be normal. Don't "pop" your joints on purpose. The friction is bad for your bones. Do you play sports? That could have a lot to do with it.

That EXACT same thing happened to my dad in the same place! But he said that it went away after about a month, but it hurt like HECK! He said that every time it popped out, it would burn, and feel really really sore and "creaky." But it went away. But he wore a knee strap around it. I also at the time had hurt my leg really really bad when playing capture the flag, so I wore one too, except mine was smaller. You can find them usually at Walgreens in the medicine section. Or mabye in some other stores too. It covers your whole leg and applies small pressure, so you cartalige doesn't pop out. It's inexpensive and ours was black, but they might come in different colors too. It is flexible and strechy, so you can also move your leg around . My dad said that it helped his leg, and didn't hurt at all. Hope I helped!

The popping noise is just your joints releasing carbon dioxide from their spaces. Nothing to worry about. Almost everyone "smack, crackle, pops" every once in a while!

Drink ALOT more water and try including olive oil in your diet maybe. Stay away from sugar, sugar. It increases your yeast levels and yeast consumes all your moisture.

Did you know that poping joints are caused by gas trapped in there?
