I don't know but when you find out, please let me know.
I'm 45 and finding single men, especially single men that are worth a damn is almost non existent. Especially in my area.
And just ignore the juvenile remarks from people. They are to young and immature to understand that just because your 50 does not mean that your life is over or that you don't have feelings.
They also do not stop to think that they will be 50 before they know it. Time stands still for NO man.

by doing some of the activities that you are interested in.eg bowling, charity work etc. that way you meet men who are into the same things that you are. If you want to try online then use a dating site such as http://www.plentyoffish.com. The reason that I named that one is the fact that it is totally free. Just be prepared to also find guys who may not be looking for the same things that you are but persistence does pay. I am also in my 50's and am amazed at the stupidity or ignorance of the younger crowd.

Please ignore these rude, stupid comments. My mom is 53 and she looks better than most 30 year olds. Plus, women like Oprah Winfrey, Tina Turner, and Janice Dickenson prove that 50+ is truly fabulous.
Deary, look in your local newspaper. There are many "local events" that are advertised. These "events" include local community events that are going on in your area. For example, I live in Alabama, and a local event announcement says " The Ocean Wales Chamber of Commerce has several upcoming events for the community: Business 'After Hours', "Cruise Through to See Whats New"...and various other events. There is even a meeting for the "Crime Prevention Association"..The newspaper has lots of social events that you can attend.
Try also getting involved in Politics. My mom is a member of a local Democratic Party organization and they meet twice a month to plan for election strategies and other things. Many people older than 50 attend, and they are mostly educated and professional people. She also works the polls on election day. GET INVOLVED IN LOCAL POLITICS. Check your paper to see if any political events are going on
The point is that you must GET OUT and enjoy yourself. Dress nice, make sure your hair is done, and SMILE!!! Your smile is your best asset. Wouldn't you rather talk to a smiling face than a sourpuss? SMILE :)
Good Luck and Peace

Why don't you go to church, sometimes at the laundry mat, at the supermarket, ask your Friends if they have a single Friend to introduce to you.
