Talk to your doctor. Birth control pills can be used to regulate your period, and you can either eliminate it completely (most doctors won't recommend this I think), or reduce it to a couple of times a year. And you can control when it happens too, so you can plan it around a vacation for example.
But everyone's different. My roommate will get it a few times a year no matter what she does. But at least she's not getting it once a month.

Is just something natural that all women have to go through and if don't have our period is bad for us because we have to take all the bad stuff through there...you know what!!?
