It's just your hormones kicking in. Be aware that girls mature a little faster than boys at this age and you may find it difficult to find somone your own age.
Don't despair though, it will happen for you in due course. Just be yourself and don't try to show off.
It's when you're not looking that they find you. ;-)

I never had a romantic relationship until I was 16... and that failed within 2 weeks.
