for young dogs, it usually goes in two or three sets. The first ones are normally given between the 4-6 weeks depending on the vet. The second set ususally goes around the 12 week mark give or take a couple days. If the vet decides to go for a third round, he could ask you to come back at the 6 month mark. Usually, if you buy the pups from a true breeder, they come with the first maybe second set of shots already done. If you get the pups from a store, you should see if they gave you any paperwork that states what has been done and if the animal passes the mandatory veternary inspection before issue.

Puppies get their first shots (usually it's a 6 in 1 that includes Parvo and Distemper) at 8 weeks, then boosters at 12 weeks and 16 weeks. It's a good idea to give a dewormer at the same times. The last boosters include a rabies shot. They only need one of those. You also start heartworm and flea treatment at 16 weeks
If your puppies were taken away from mama before 8 weeks they should have shots immediately.
If you skipped a dose or if your puppies are older than 16 weeks, don't worry. Get them the shots and they will be fine.
Ask your veterinarian if the offer "Puppy Plans" where you get all the above care for one low price.
Good luck and I hope this helps.

It depends on how old they are. I think first shots are usually at 6 weeks, so if you just got these puppies, now is the time. If you have not done so already, the puppies need to go to a vet for a wellness check. The vet will worm them (a necessity if not done already) and advise you on shots. If the vet is too expensive, you can get the shots done elsewhere, but the check and the worming still require a vet. Congrats on your puppies!

Combo at 8, 12, and 16 weeks, rabies at 5-6 months. I am surprised how many people here are still going on a 6 week schedule, I haven't done that for years.

Immediately. They need to be protected from Rabees, Parvo, Distemper, and other illnesses. Have the puppies dewormed as well.
