YES!!! Just do things that do not involve being punched in the face. Boxing is SO complicated that you can do SO many other work outs and drills that do not include being hit. Work on your punching, road work, foot work, etc. Develop a style, when the braces come off use that style and kick some ***. Good luck buddie.

Well, you could probably start now. Lots of kids play sports, like wrestling and others and lots of kids who do that have braces. Everyone was telling you to wait, but with boxing you have to wear mouthguards to protect your teeth anyway, so what is the big deal? If you wear mouthguards, you won't get your mouth hurt from your braces, and you braces should be fine. Yes, your mouth is sore more because you teeth are being shifted with braces, but if you can handle that, then you should be fine.

Hey, I even found special boxing mouthguards designed specifically for athletes with braces. Check them out...

Wait until you get them off. If you get punched in the mouth with braces, it will cut up the inside of your mouth.

Might as well wait until your new gnashes are able to withstand the punch in the mouth, it'll be false teeth then...
Hmmmm, get a new straight set of teeth to get them knocked out (possibly)...

Why bother with the braces?

Good Lord no, don't box with braces on! I am cringing as I type this I am in so much empathetic pain on your behalf!

Why would you bother to have braces if you are going to box and ruin your teeth?

I don't understand what one has to do with the other?

If you want to start boxing, you may want to talk with your parents and your orthodontist. You will probably need some protection for your mouth. So, you may want to wait.
