How many girls out there care if a guy smokes? Would it make a difference if I said I was going to quit? I really do need to quit. If you meet a guy that smokes does it instantly make you think you could never date this person?

No. If I meet a guy that smokes, it doesn't necessarily mean I would never date him. If minor flaws are you sole reason for not giving someone a chance, you'd be rated as pretty shallow in my book.
I don't smoke...and I don't really like dating smokers, if only cause it makes kissing a little less enjoyable. But... If a guy I meet, happens to be a smoker, I'll still give him a shot. There could be a beautiful, poetic soul buried somewhere inside. If I write him off just for smoking, I could be missing out on a great catch. Smoking isn't permanent...like you say, you want to quit...but the person behind the cigarette will be there long after ashtray mouth :)
My suggestion...if you say you need/want to quit... DO IT! No time like the present...then you'll get to do your own research on the girls :) Good Luck~!

We the surfers of cyber world meet with so many people every day. Surfing the net is the best pastime one can ever develop, as internet has the most knowledge, a surfer will never have to wait for a answer. The cyber culture is growing, and it is about time that we find our club and that to a very different club, which is not a part of any big website house like the yahoo and google. Smoking is a deal breaker for me; I don't like the smell or the taste when you kiss a smoker. But that's just a personal opinion.
I've dated two guys that were trying to quit, and it sucked, because they were super cranky.

I know I'm a guy answering this but... I smoke cigars on the weekend. And if the girl doesn't like it. Then too F))kin bad. One of my girlfriends didn't like it. The next one didn't mind. My next girlfriend was a little more the bad type she was cool. I personally avoid women that freak out about stuff like smoking.

From a guys prospective. I have seen some pretty woman who smoked. I wanted to get with them but I just couldn't get pass the A$$ Tray breath. Sorry friend. Give it up.

Yes. I would not ever date a smoker. It is an instant turn-off.
But quit for yourself. I've had friends die of lung cancer... and have one who has breathing effects from smoking thirty years earlier. Quit because you want to live a long, healthy life. Then find someone to enjoy life with.

I can't date a smoker, it's gross. You kiss them and they taste like smoke, not a good taste. They're teeth and fingers are stained, they're clothes reek. Its just a disgusting habit. Find a girl that smokes too and you'll be all set. You can both stink together.

no it doesnt because smokeing doesnt determine the guy (personallity, looks, or how he treats you im just sayin only smoke around the women that smoke or you know that dont mined
