In Korean, there are two ways to say thing, unlike in English. One is formal, you would use it to people older than you, elders, etc. The other is said to people the same age as you or younger than you.

Formal: 보고싶어요
It's pronounced: "bo-goh-shih-puh-yo"

Informal: 보고싶어 or 보고싶다 (the first is present tense, the second is also a form of present tense)
Pronounced: "bo-goh-shih-puh" or "bo-goh-ship-dah"

Hope that helps~!
