My entire family came here from Mexico legally, I am Mexican, however, people still call me racist, WHY? Why is it "race" involved to be against something that is illegal and ruins our school system, medical system, crime rate and tax system? Isn't people expecting you to stick up for someone of your own race, just because you have the same skin color, racist in itself? Can't people get past skin color already??

It has nothing to do with race.
"racist" used to be a potent insult in the civil rights era when whites in general felt guilty about how unfairly blacks, who were citizens, had been treated. They didn't have to have done anything themselves, they sort of blamed themselves for existing at a time when others did things and not finding out about it and stopping it.
It worked to get a lot of benefits for blacks, to 'even things up'.
However, in that case race WAS the issue. In this case it isn't. Most illegal aliens are Mexicans. Mexicans can be white, brown, black or oriental. Or whatever. It is a nationality, not a race.
However, since most illegal immigrants are Mexican, enforcement of the law will impact Mexicans more than others. If most illegal immigrants were from somewhere else, it would impact those people most.
It isn't racist to evenhandedly enforce our laws just because one neighboring country, due to lesser social services and due to proximity, is the one that broke the laws most.

You are not racist! It hurts me to see that people are using this term wrongly to defend themselves. You see, it is just a mask to hide the truth, because it's people like you who speak the truth. I applaud you for coming here legally, like many people in this country. I am glad that you are not supporting illegals simply because they are the same race as yours. Isn't that a stupid reason? If you look at a question of mine posted in the immigration section, look how many people are pro-illegal. They call me racist, and then say degrading comments like the lack of education. Don't listen to them and don't ever let them drive you out of where you live. You'll just prove that they're winning

Well, maybe because there aren't that many legal Mexicans and those who you have spoken with are illegal or they have illegal family/friends here in the US and you offend them when you talk about illegal aliens.
You aren't racist, that wouldn't make any sense, but you are standing your ground, and keep on doing so.

They don't actually think you are a racist. They are using a clever marketing technique known as "jamming" whereby they simply resort to name calling to put you on the defensive instead of intelligently discussing the issue at hand.

you are not a racsist for wanting to know who is in this country. we have too many people that are envious of our success. i don't care if they come here legally. my ancestors came from europe. they had to sign the book, though. we cannot risk bad people coming to this country i don't care what color you are.

You are not a racist. You are an American that came here legally. Some feel they can shame you into siding with them. They are criminals, so I wouldn't worry about their opinion of you. They should be more concerned about your opinion of them.
