I belong to a credit union and they won't help me. My credit score is only 500 and I do have three credit cards that are not maxed, they are in good standing

so why don't you go apply for it then at a bank/credit union?? we need a little more info here to help you out. an unsecured loan may not need a cosigner depending on your credit score/history. but the best thing to do would be to go and find out...see what your options are.

Go to your local bank and see. Prior to that check out your credit situation and if your at least a 600 mid score you should be fine. You should already have at least 2- 3 credit cards to have established lines of credit for at least 6 months.
