It helped me a lot. My computer time was all screwed up. I just wanted to know the hour. Since many people answer the question right away, I was able to figure out the correct hour!

Well at the time of your posting the time in NY was GMT-4 or 1945 or 7:45 p.m.

8 PM. Well, isn't this silly? How does this provide any information to the questioner? This is like the "simultaneity" problem in relativity.
