PS... I won't switch their food now because I am feeding them Innova puppy food, the best on the market by far (all the research I've done), so I guess I may have to live with it!!! haha

TO TMF ~ i have been told by many, many pet food stores (all different ones) that vets get paid by Science diet and those companies to promote their food. My puppies got sick every time i tried Iams or Science Diet, even Natural Balance... they gobble up Innova. and the reason i say it's the best? they use all human grade, no animal by products, im assuming you know what those are...

Feed them a good meat based food and they won't have as much gas, Lamb based is the best. It is also best not to just change from one kind to another without doing it slowly. Give them mostly the old and slowly each day add more and more of the new kind into the mix. This way it won't upset their tummy. Also feed them puppy food, never adult food until they are full grown.

They may have an allergy to a common dogfood ingredient (in which case, the Innova may be the culprit afterall). I don't know the Innova ingredients, but chicken, corn, wheat, and beef are pretty common allergens. If there is dairy in the food it could be lactose intolerance. Or, if your dogs have been on antibiotics lately, they may need more good bacteria in their stomach, so you could give them a little yogurt. You could ask your vet about these. The website below has some good information about it.

Be sure that you're not giving them any table scraps... Do you think maybe they get food out of the trash? My dogs had the same problem until we switched to Pedigree, but if you've tried switching food, you may just have naturally gassy puppies! Good luck with that...

Have you tried Science Diet, recommended by all vets here in Oz, and an American product. My old dog had the same problem - sorry to tell you it isn't restricted to puppies - and since he's been on the stuff, plus fresh meat, no problem at all!!.

Love the "joke"??(I hope) about your boyfriend. are you sure its the puppies at all????

REALLY doubt that Innova food is best! Worked at Vet clinic for past 10 years and NO VET ever recommended it! Funny how you say it is the "best" but no vets ever carry it!

I've read that Greyhounds pass gas alot, too, and that alot of Greyhound owners give them a spoon of plain yogurt to cure it. I'm not sure if that will work for your puppies or are good for them so research on this before you try it!!

A more meat based puppy food, not such much milk and liquid in the food.

You can safely put a spoon of Beano on their kibble, and add a little plain yogurt.... It will help them have more complete digestion..

This just might be their general make-up. If it really becomes a oroblem, consult your Vet about it.
