I met this girl I really like, but never for a moment thought she might like me. At the time I first met her she was seeing someone anyways. So anyways, she sort of set me up with her friend, and we kissed. It was only a kiss and nothing more really.

Since then she is no longer in a relationship, and we both started getting on really well and flirting a lot, always making comments about how she liked my eyes or my smile etc. One night when we were out she told me she really fancied me, and I told her I really fancy her too. She went to kiss me but I backed away, the problem being that her friend was there too (the one I had kissed previously) and I was concious of not upsetting her. I explained this to the girl I like, but I'm not sure if she understood.

Since then she is a lot less flirty with me and made a little joke that she had too much drink that night. Maybe she feels it was a mistake, or maybe she feels like i rejected her? I really like her, but have I blown it?

no, if the girl had really liked you she would have understood and anyways it was good on your part to consider her friend's feelings take the friend aside and tell her how you really feel then talk to the girl you like maybe then she'll understand. if not i'm sorry but neither girl was meant for you.

You have gone this far, go ahead and make one more try but make sure that the other girl is not present. If "one more try" is not successful then do like I do, get cleaned up, clean your glasses, and go out looking for another one. Once you get into the "just friends" category there is no way that I have ever heard of to go to boyfriend/girlfriend.

well maybe call her talk it out and ask her if u have blown it or not. She might just feel rejected and needs 2 talk.

you probably blew it if it was just a kiss who cares what the other girl thinks now you probably are going to be left alone

i dont think you blew it, but she was probably offended, if you like her, and your not seeing her friend anymore, you should be more concerned about her feelings than her friends...
im sure thats how she sees it too

Yes. You should have kissed her. She's over you.
