I'm sure there are books on this - but when I think of red, I think HOT so I would get her near something that is hot - but keep her safe.... green is cool and reminds me of nature - mabey take her for a walk in the woods and hand her leaves - let her 'feel' the color.... and yellow - sunshine - warm, pleasant - not hot.
You also could tap into your own senses and close your eyes and try to 'feel' colors. Remember that a blind person develops senses that we don't have so they can feel things we can't feel.

The usual approach by linguists is to make comparisons to the other senses.
Red = hot, spicy, acrid, sharp, strident
Blue = cool, mellow, smooth
Yellow = warm, juicy, lemon.
There are no rules, since a blind person has no refrent. You cannot make him "see" a color. You can only indicate a feeling for the color. Close your eyes and make your own lists. Try describing other colors or even patterns. It can be fun.

Red: Burning heat, like holding your hand over a candle flame.
Green: Soft like velvety moss or a smooth cool leaf
Yellow: That pleasant warm sensation you get when you lay in the sun, the splash of citris you get when you bite into an orange

red is a hot color, green is like a soft piece of grass, yellow is a hot color, like the sun, and blue is the soft waters- by touch.........that was a great question, by the way. How did you think of it?

You might describe them by their electromagnetic wavelength. Or you might describe them by the feelings associated with them. For example Orange and Red are often considered warm colors.
