religion and love have played a strong part in my life.. i once thought i loved until he deceieved me.. years later i have over come the hurt and nightmares.. i am a stronger person but recently i have pulled back from love and i am very cautious.. fear and anxiety have closed my heart to a new love in fear he might hurt me as he already tricked me.. should i open the door to love as if i leave it closed it might never open again...

If you offer love to someone but it has "conditions" they will sense that and think it is not true love. Give and take, forgiving and being forgiven are a natural part of loving simply because no one on this earth at the present is perfect. Offer your love sincerely but if it isn't accepted move on to some one else. And by that I mean emotional love. The physical love should be saved for a commitment like marriage.

You will know (and so will they) when someone is holding back and unless you can draw them out early in your relationship, they will not make a good spouse.

Be brave my lady, nothing ventured nothing gained.

It is better to have loved and lost,
then never to have loved at all.

Just do what feels right.

You're absolutely correct in being cautious; there are plenty of men out there who will hurt your feelings.
And that the same time, there are plenty of good people around.

Basically, you have to really get to know someone before you decide that you love them. Otherwise, you may only be falling in love with who you want them to be, not who they actually are.

If you are speaking about the Lord Jesus Christ then you are trully mistaken as to what you believ and I would suggest that you attend a true Bible believeing church and that you would read your word, the Bible and I will pray right now that The Holy Spirit lead you Into all truth and understanding

I also hope that you have given your life to Jesus Christ and are saved.
You must know that he trully died for your sins and as he did mine and shed his blood for us so we can be rise and be In heaven with him for eternity
I pray that you trully get this understanding
amen

I think that you are really thinking this through and because of that you will make the right decision. Remember this though , if you do take a shot and it does not work out do not be to hard on yourself.

Relax, don't take it too seriously. Life is full of pain and wonder. To deny yourself pain is to deny yourself all of the wonders of life. Go for it, it may hurt but you will be glad you did.

You won't know unless you try. If you deny yourself happiness you will regret it for the rest of your life, wondering what might have been.

Jesus Christ offers unconditional love if you let Him. He'll never let you down or hurt you. You are probably referring to romantic love, but once you know God, everything becomes clearer.
God bless

Live each day as though its your last and love each time as though its your first.

If you do not love you will be robbing yourself. Be careful and prayerful.
