What would you do to them, if you caught them?
You'll get to 'leave' again, someday, and just think how good you can do it the next time? after getting one practice run, already? Not many get to do that, and tell about it. . . You're special. . .

Well,
Eight months ago I was in a car accident. When a Paramedic saved me. For 6 months I tried to find him, as he gradually became my Hero. Just because I was searching for him to show my gratitude I've learnt to be steadfast and diligent in my task. I got courage and strength etc. And I was very (still am) proud of him for that little gift he provided me with. A month or two ago a few Paramedics on-line convinced my to let go. My Hero is happy just for what he is doing, because it's what he loves doing best. And he tends to see 100s of patients per month.
However, you didn't mention how old you are now? I'm sure what they did means a lot to you and you're proud of them. You evidently want to thank them personally. But let me tell you, you can you that but by living your life right. Man, go ahead. Just pray for them every time you imagine them getting into their vehicle or saving a life. That's the best 'thanks' you can possibly give. If you want to go down the lane, write a letter to your local newspaper.
As for going after them, honestly no. But good luck in your endeavours and know that when you're in need they'll be there with you. I'm 16, and I take great pride in having a Hero. Who, by the way, I've met for only 8 minutes - flat. And here's the thing: God doesn't put something in front of you that he doesn't mean to be there. He never gives you more then you can handle. And that's the beauty if it!
Be good and stay safe! (Maryam) hidden4eternity

I hope it's to say "thank you"! They did a wonderful thing by giving you your life back, why would want to do anything else? Just think of all the people you touched in your years here! I would say a big Thank You would be in order!

you have to have damages from the rescue attempt, and your case must be filed within the statute of limitations. (which I doubt you can do by now). Also for a rescue attempt (successful). You would have to prove gross negligence, in order to show breach of the standard of care. Almost no rescue attempts negligence cases are succesful Your chances of success are very close to zero.

Go after them? why, does your life suck? Well, if it does don't blame them. They gave you years to do something with, if you messed yourself up, it is up to you to fix your life.
If you wish to FIND them and THANK them, by all means, go ahead.
