Contacts- are they comfortable? does it feel like your wearing nothing?

From my experience (44years of wearing glasses), most people have a tendency to shop for fashion instead of fit. A good pair of eyeglasses that FIT you well as well as look good should be the way to go.

An experienced optician will be able to show you stylish frames and pick the perfect lenses that should feel balanced on your face after proper adjusting.

Contacts are comfortable, again after being properly fit. Please visit your eye doctor for an exam.

Contacts are the way to go if your vision is really bad. My glasses are so heavy that they hurt my nose and ears after a while. If you get disposable contacts, there is minimal upkeep and they are very comfortable. But, you need to buy some glasses as a backup.

advantages for wearing glasses over nothing is that you can see! Contacts are probably better though, because they cover your whole pupil so your peripheral vision is corrected too. Plus, you can wear sunglasses with them. They're weird at first and it's hard to get used to sticking stuff in your eyes, but you get used to them fast and forget that they're even there. You do have to be careful though, that you keep them clean and disinfected so you don't get some nasty eye diseases.
