There are lots of fashion tints, but if you ask a professional window tinter, they are junk quality. There are several shades of metallic tint out there (they look like a mirror when you look into it). However, that mirroring usually fades and they look like trash when they do. Metallic tints are also illegal in almost every state. As such, you want to get a non-metallic tint. Really, there are two common colors of tints, and several different degrees of tinting. The two colors are:

black (also sometimes called smoke or grey)

bronze (also sometimes called brown)

Window tinting percentages are a measurement of transmissivity, in other words, see through visibility. As such, the smaller the percentage, the darker the windows. Most shades start off at about 80% and get progressively darker.

You want to select a color that matches your car. For example, if your car is gold or green then get the bronze colored window tinting. Other shades look better with black tinting. I have a gold VW Passat and the dark bronze window tinting looks great. I have extremely dark tint. I have 5% on the front windows and 1.1% on the rear windows. I think it looks really good.

Window tinting is the easiest and most functional way to dress up your car. Enjoy!

Whatever you do...DO NOT INSTALL IT YOURSELF!....pay the money and have it done right, or you will have bubbling tint in 6 months. It's usually $40 per window. I have the traditional black. Look in the phone book and see what they have for tint installers, it's usually under auto in the yellow pages. Some places dont even sell colors, due to the laws of the state.

You asked what the best looking Car Tint is, well its not one that is a color, I laugh whenever I see a car with color tint here in my city, however it is your car do what you want. I would just stick with the plain black limo tint, or lighter.
