Oh, I've had this problem before. If the dentist gave you an "All Okay" report for this check-up, then for the short term, you need simply to rinse with a little salt water. And the bleeding will stop (If the bleeding persists for several hours even after rinsing, consult your dentist again).
For the long term however, you should routinely floss, preferably once at night before bed. This will yield stronger, healthier gums, and stop the gum bleeding in the long run.

Your gums are bleeding where the work was done. Warm salt water will heal the mouth faster than anything. If you had teeth pulled don't do this until the healing process is ready for this.Ck with you dentist if this is the case. for cleanings you can swish it around. Your mom should know how to mix it, it needs to be really salty and you don't need a gallon, just about a 1/3 cup

You probably should have asked while you were there. This could be a sign of gingivitis or receding gums.In any case brushing your teeth well three time s a day with something like Colgate Total and using a quality mouthwash like Listerine or Crest pro health may help.Bleeding gums don't make your teeth stronger. The minerals in your saliva do as well as flouride in your tooth paste
