You can exercise, eat portions of your meal that are good for you, (Like until you fill up). Cut down on artificial stuff, preservatives, and sugars and go with organics and all natural things. This is not only healthy for you, it doesn't add on any extra things that you don't need. Exercise and eat less. Don't go on a diet only. If you are in your teens, don't diet at all. That doesn't help. Stay active. if you are in your teens, spend a few hours going outside, playing, running, whatever get's you moving. If you are an adult and are at work, clear a little while, (20-60) minutes of activity. Good Luck!

(Kira Knightly went onto an all water based diet and has lost a lot of weight. She only drinks water and she eats only melons and celery, stuff like that. Cool Huh?)

You shouldn't go for the easiest and quickest, because the weight will not stay off. Instead try to make permanent diet changes and exercise daily. It'll have permanent results.

The important thing is that your TOTAL calories have to be cut down, but you still have to eat well and consistently throughout the day- that means frequent, but SMALL meals. Try to eat 5 "snack" sized meals throughout the day, this way you don't get hungry and your body has a steady supply of energy. But the amount you eat each time should be less.

Also remember to eat something small (like a fruit) right before and immediately after you exercise- that's when your body is needs it and uses it the best.

I lost about 75 pounds by staying away from all fast food. Watch your calorie an fat intake. Try to go for a 30 minute walk a day, and 30-45min workout every other day. Lift weights to build muscle, because muscle makes you look thinner an burns fat. Chew your food and eat slowly. Only eat when you are hungry. If you over eat, try to find out why. Is it an hour thing, drink diet soda or chew gum. Bored? Find a hobby. Depressed? talk about your feelings to someone or write in a journal. You get the picture. I hope you aren't looking for a quick, easy, magic solution to weight loss, because no matter what the media tells you, THERE IS NO SECRET TO LOSING WEIGHT. Eating healthy and exercising is the only healthy, permanent, way to lose weight!

This all depends on how much weight you want to lose and where you are at.

You need to eat healthy and what this means is you should try to get as much Whole Grains and Fresh Fruit and Veggies.
Avoid things high in fat and sugars.
Drink LOTS of water, a min. of 10 glasses a day.

Next you need to go do Cardio, anything that gets your heart rate up. Since you are focused on weight loss, try to stay in the Fat Burn zone. If you are interested in healthy go more for cardio training. You can basically do as much Cardio as you want.

If you want to be healthy, and keep the weight off, shoot for losing NO MORE then 2 lbs a week.

You should go get a gym membership NOW, and talk with a personal trainer, they will get you going on a program that will get you the results you want.

There is no way to quickly and easily lose weight, at least not permanently. You need to do your research, find out how many calories you should be taking in (bmr) to maintain your current weight, and how many you need to lose weight. Make sure you're staying active and exercising. When people lose weight fast, it's always water or muscle. The water weight will gain back quickly and loss of muscle just makes you flabby. Don't crash diet. You'll slow your metabolism and make weight loss in the future harder and weight gain much easier. Eat 5-6 small meals a day to help boost metabolism. And before you start anything, make sure you do your research. Good luck.

Fruits and veggies and lean meat, watch your carbs and fat, stay clear of rice, pasta and white bread and fatty meats like beef and pork. Eat more poultry, fish, and plant based protein, as found in low carb protein bars or drinks. Also remember when eating meats that you can only digest about 30 grams of protein at once, which is a peice of chicken or fish about the size of your palm. Some foods are negative calorie (they take more calories to digest than what's in them) and they're great for snacks Like apples with the skin on, celery, and green beans. Get an exercise ruitine, rotate between cardiovascular (like jogging in place) and muscle firming exercise, do each exercise til you are wore out on that one and then go to the next. Drink only water and 3 glasses of skim milk a day.

A healthy diet and excercise is essential to healthy living, and maintaining a slim figure, however getting started on that path can be challenging.
