"you could put cheese on a piece of horse [manure] and it'd taste good"

That's an interesting question, let me expand on that by saying that I LOVE cheese.

Having said that, I think cheese and other diary products are more important for younger people to eat. As their bodies grow, the calcium diary products helps to grow strong bones.

I am 34 years old and I love the taste of cheese, so I tend to still eat it from time to time. As you get older, cholesterol becomes a factor and if you eat too much cheese it causes the arteries in your heart to harden and you will get certain heart problems.

Cheese cubes will stop cavities, studies have proven that certain calcium-binding phosphopeptides extracted from milk protein can inhibit cavities from forming. THe process involves recalcification of the dental enamel. So if you eat a small piece of hard cheese ( about 5 grams) the size of a sugar cube it may prevent cavities.

Some is and some isn't.. I personally ADORE sharp cheddar cheese plain and monterey jack cheese on nachos or in quesadillas, but I despise plain American cheese...blech.
