Have you ever been tempted to leave your church? Ever gone to a mainline church that had beautiful worship music and a dynamic speaker? Have you ever wondered if mainline christianity had more to offer?

Yes, I know about the Mormon faith, I have taken the missionary lessons, attended sacrement meetings. There is no hidden agenda in my question, I am just curious. Any defintion of churchs other than Mormon is just that, a christian church other than Mormon, and yes I know that Mormons are Christians too.

Yes, I have been to Baptist, a non denomonational service, Catholic mass, Jehova's Whitness meeting. I enjoyed learning about other faiths. It was a little more subdued in the protatant churches than others I've heard of, but I still have interest in going to other services, no intention to change, but simply to learn. I've also attempted to attend other services (it was a christian denomonation, and they shall remain nameless) but they would not let me in because I was Mormon.

I am a mormon and used to be methodist and left because it was uncharasmatic and i was teated like dirt because I didnt grow up with rich parents! I have seen some enthusiastic teachers in my days as a member of the mormon church!

im not mormon, but i used to be.. mormons actually already are christian, they believe in the same god and jesus that you all believe in.
i have been to one of these churches you speak of and the environment is not comfortable, and the preacher or whatever you have, are only in it for the money, they go to school to learn how to preach then they open up a buisness, call it a chruch, and pass arround the collection plate. do you really think they arent collecting a salary? BS they are!

Mormons don't have "preachers."
I doubt they would be impressed by a "charismatic, dynamic speaker."

no and we DO NOT BELIVE IN polygamy just to clear things up
but no we are christian becase the name of our church is The Church of Jesus Christof Latter Day Saints

I went to one once and that was it. The Holy Ghost was telling me that they are not of God, God's preachers don't need to shout, obnoxious music drives the spirit away. It needs to peaceful and quiet.
