Sorry honey...move on. The reason he told you not to wait is because he isn't planning on waiting for you. You deserve better!!

ok luv, i'm going to tell you the awful truth. If you know anything about the military life then you'll understand. You have co-ed barracks, and all night card parties and drinking when your not on duty. People hooking up and getting together. If your man told you not to wait he did so for a reason, he doesn't want to hurt you, be thankful he cared that much. But move on, your not married, and whats the harm in dating, if its meant to be when he comes back you'll both get back together and if not at least you didn't leave on a sour note.

I think you should wait, until you find out that the person in the national guard is the one you really want to be. If you have the need to be with other one's, girl move on and don't waste your time thinking of what's good or what's wrong.

wait for him. if you feel that way, everytime a different guy comes, wait. new years isn't that far away. besides, i know exactly what you're going through. me and my boyfriend broke up for "separation reasons" too. then, everytime i went for some guy, he would always come into my mind. i'd catch myself thinking about him all the time. i couldn't JUST be with some guy, i wanted to be with him. so we talked, but he had a new girlfriend. i was really upset about that, but i still waited. a couple of days later, he found out that i still loved him, and he called me. he ended up breaking up with his girlfriend (who ended up not being upset at all) and asked me out a week later. i'm in love with him and we always want to be with each other. he is now planning to join the army after graduation. i was concerned at first, but now i've accepted it. i understand that it's something he wants to do and feels a call to it. so i told him that i will always be at his side with the desicion he makes, and i'll always be waiting here for him. it's just one of those things where even though the person isn't with you, you're thinking of them, and you know for a fact that they're thinking of you too. : ) that's what he always tells me. well i hope i helped. just listen to your heart. good luck and god bless. have a great day! : )

Do you see a future with your good-bye friend? Have you committed yourself to the relationship? Do you want to marry this guy? If you answered YES, then you have your answer, thus, you will need to wait for him to return. What did he mean when he said "not to wait on him?" Was he telling you that your relationship is over? If yes, then you need to say goodbye to him officially and then move on with another guy who will give you what you are looking for in life.

You must decide which route you will take and hopefully it will not lead to just giving your body up because you need someone to wrap their arms around you. Find yourself someone to love, or better yet....hold off and save yourself for your future husband.

I say take it day by day and situation by situation. If you find yourself wanting to be in the comfort of a man and be engaged in conversation, let someone hold your hand, etc...I think that's fine! You don't have to have a full blown relationship with every guy who shows interest. It will also show this other guy that you're a desireable female that he's got to fight for a bit. If you make it too easy, they will lose interest. That's a fact.

he sounds to me to be selfish telling you not to wait it was his way of saying while I am away I want to be free to fool around if it is going to happen. Very unfair to you as you remain home and longing for him he is out there every change he gets if he gets any at all to be having fun with other women. What you need to do is think well is doing it as well. you have to get along with your life and try and forget him. I know this wont be easy to do but each time you say no to a date he is probably saying yes.

You're in love. In situations such as these, all you can do is wait. Sometimes, it fades and you can fall in love again, and sometimes it continues, and your heart continues to long for them until they return to you. There is no real answer to your question that other people can give you; you have to go within your own heart and look for the answer there. Whatever lies in your heart is always best. But by what you say, I really think you're deeply in love, and your heart is probably telling you to wait for him to return.

You have to take things one day at a time. Try to not think in terms of waiting or moving on. Allow yourself to think of him, and be sad. But also allow yourself to date if someone of interest comes along. Don't tie yourself down to one person, but don't jump into something with someone else just to get over him.

Sounds like your in love. What a thoughtful and caring guy to tell you not to wait for him. He's a catch and if you don't wait for him your crazy. If marriage is in your near future he's the man to latch onto. Very cool guy.
