Nothing but cold water!!! Oils and lotions can coat the skin and not allow the heat in the burn to leave. These lotions trap the heat in the skin and make the burn much worse. After lots & lots of cold water you can use aloe vera. Aloe vera is wonderful at relieving and healing burns.

Keep putting cold cold water on it . Try to keep it on the burn.. It helps take out the sting.. And you need some Neosporin. The keeps it from infections. And, heals faster. Good luck.. COLD COLD COLD

Beleive it or not, but my boss who is really old and has been a cook all her life, told me to put MUSTARD on burns (all kinds of burns).

cold running water for about 20 minutes because when you get burned it will keep on buning and causing more damage.

cool water, aloe gel when blister is not broke. it depends on the size of the burn and depth and area and if infection is present.

I would use something like Lanocaine spray - or some such analgesic spray so it doesn't hurt so much. Of course, if it's severe, you may want something else.
