Not all of them. However, contrary to what some of the responses indicate, some do. One such diet pill is LIPODRENE. Another I have tremendous success with is RELACORE.

Lipodrene has ephedra, a proven weight-loss aid, and Hoodia Gordonii, a proven appetite suppressant. This is the strongest diet pill without a prescription, and IT WORKS!!!

Relacore is GREAT for belly-fat. I have three small children, and Relacore DEFINITELY reduced my stress. In addition, I was able to shed inches off of my waist with Relacore. Make sure you get the 90-count, 3/day formula, NOT the less potent 110, or 90-count 6/day formula.

Over the counter pills do not work by themselves. Look at the fine print. It always says "diet and exercise" somewhere in the fine print. Prescription diet pills DO work though, but you run the risk of dependency if it is an amphetamine.

NO. Fat people are looking for a quick fix to their obesity without changing their behavior. Obesity is a behavior problem, just like compulsive eating, gambling, sex, etc. The only way to loose weight is to eat less and better, while adding exercise. A lot of people (generally female) overeat to feel better about their lives, problems, some specific event.

There are many people who disagree with me on this. You will hear it is genetic, some disorder, or the like. All these things are excuses to not take personal responsiblity for their mistakes. It is not embarrassing that you are overweight, fat, obese,.. It is embarassing that you are not willing to do anything about it.

Then there are the people that think it is sexy to be 100 pounds overweight. Take that to an early grave. You do what you like on this one, just do not expect my tax dollars to pay for your health care when it was preventable.

Homeopathic Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-
PHYTOLACCA BERRY's Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don't get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth
The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.
To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying.
Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.
Take care and God Bless !

P.S
Regular active exercise is advised with all weight loosing medicines and remedies :-) Take care

the so-called diet pills are nothing more than uppers. They stimulate your body into metabolizing faster. Anyone who has high-blood pressure shouldn't use them.

No, of course they all don't work. We all have different bodies and thus all respond differently to medication etc.

No way. They use the American mentality of get-thin-quick-and-make-me-look-beautiful to make money.

They do REALLY bad things to your body, too.

Just do it the old-fashioned way. Work out, work hard, and eat right. End of story.

Contrary to popular belief...none of them work. You have to eat less calories that you burn. This is the only way to lose weight.
