Practice patience and love. Understand that all kids outgrow bed wetting at a rate of 15 percent a year, which mean by the time they go through puberty, less than 1or2 percent will wet the bed. So be and be supportive. No kid want to wet on himself. It's unpleasant, uncomfortable, and cold, and besides, only babies do that and no kid want to to be a baby, patience and support is the bottom line.

well, when i was young i used to wet the bed a lot (as I'm sure we all did at some point) what made me start realizing to wake up was that every time i would wet the bed i would have a dream that i was in a bathroom stall about to use the bathroom then gradually i learned to wake myself up every time i started "seeing" a bathroom.

i don't know if that will help but basically you just have to look for clues to wake yourself up, or set an alarm halfway through the night and use the bathroom and go back to bed.

My own bed wetting was a source of shame and embarrasment. Especially when I got married. Nevertheless, I think a lot of bedwetting is caused by nightmares. Kids who have nightmares are afraid to get out of bed and pee. You have to take away the scary movies and possibly get a urinal for your child so he can pee without getting out of bed.

Are you asking for help with a child who wets her/his bed or yourself?

If its a child, dont give them anything to drink like an hour before bed and make sure they use the bathroom before bed. Also pull ups are a great option and they make them in all sizes.

If its yourself? Do the same. dont drink anything for an hour before bed and use the bathroom before you lay down. They also make "diapers" for adults (Depends)

You need to talk with his doctor. They are finding that this does have certain causes that the person can not help. They did a lot of research in the last couple of years and I think they came up with the reason for this.I can't remember what it was.I would use preventive methods for now and see a doctor.Good Luck!

My mom took my daughter to a chiroprater, she never wet the bed again. Or you can buy the pull ups, that is a good one for not having to change the bed. Boys will do this longer than girls

Don't drink anything an hour to an hour and a half before you sleep, and also make sure you go to the bathroom right befoe you sleep.

For kids or adults? My son is 6 and he doesn't know how to get up at night when he has to pee. I keep a pull-up on him. It works.
