I have dark brown hair too and I just got this hairstyle and I absolutely love it!!!

Keep the length, but try some layers in the front and towards the bottom of your hair. This will give your hair some extra volume, and the layers can be flipped out or in for a really cute effect. You can flip it in or out either using a curling iron, a very thin flat iron (my personal favorite), or a round brush with a blow dryer.
You may also want to try some thin, sweep-to-the-side bangs. This style looks great on most people, and will transform your look with little change or effort.
My last bit of advice is to splurge a little on the haircut by going to a real salon instead of something like a super cuts or fantastic sams. Spending a little extra money at a salon for a more experienced and talented stylist will REALLY pay off.

If u dont like ur hair at the lenght it is at, then get extentions if u want it long, or a little bit under the ears if u like it short. I am doing the short haired look this skool year! Do what u think wood look best on you! :)
