has hundreds of entries for John Tyler, 1790 - 1862. Many of them have descendants. Yo can click on th ebox "Has descendants" to limit the search.

If you are now 16 and the result of a long line of teen-aged lovers, your GGF was born

1990 - you
1974 - parent
1958 - GP
1942 - GGF

If you are now 80 and the result of along line of men who had children when they were 60, by second wives, your GGF was born:

1926 - you
1866 - Parent
1806 - GP
1746 - GGP

Both of these examples are extreme but physically possible. That is why it helps to put birth dates instead of "My great grand father".

There are no men named Andrew Tyler in Alaska in 1930 on the census images I subscribe to. There were no white men born in Alaska in 1746.

Check the index of the book, "Burke's Presidential Families of the United States of America" for "Tyler, Andrew". If your local library doesn't have it, see if they can get a copy from another library on ILL (InterLibrary Loan).
