I'm just wondering, mainly for those of you out there who have given/recieved promise rings, how did you/your partner do it and what promise was made upon the ring?

Its a promise to stay with you, and possibly eventually lead to marriage.

I havent ever gotten a promise ring but they are the sweetest thing i want one so bad! All you guys give out those rings!

Don't be fooled by the idea of promise rings. This is just a set up for the question of marriage. Don't get one, don't get involved with it.
