Some Good Old Boys did this years ago where I live. They basically built a complete sub frame with trans buckled up to a mustang rear axle with U-joints and no drive line. Cut out the floor pan until the body sat on the sub frame and welded them together. Interior was made as needed with light sheet metal and a little bit of framing to support it.
This one wasn't very pretty but it ran like a scalded ape!

Not sure that that can even be done. The biggest engine I've ever seen in a bug was a Buick V-6. Might be able to do it with a flipped Corvair transaxle and mount it in the back seat though.
I've stuck a few Porche drivelines under a Bug back in the day. That is doable. But wreaked Porches were relatively cheap in those days...

I would say Weld A Chevy Frame to a Volkswagen Frame, or Drill Holes and Bolt the two Frames together. I don't think a Volkswagen frame could handle it without more support. Good Luck!

only way its possible is by taking out the back seat, using a G50 transmission from porsche (to make it RR), and a whole shitload of custom fab, including the entire rear end, engine mounts, firewall, and wiring. You prob wouldnt even be able to fit the big block. Maybe an LS7 or other smallblock though.
